At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do.We are seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our team at our program in Sacramento, CA.As a member of the Intensive Transition Services (ITS) Team, the Licensed Transition/Care Coordinator is qualified in the human services field and possesses the skills and experience necessary to provide clinical therapeutic interventions, care coordination and supportive services to program individuals with a mental health diagnosis and Intellectual/Developmental Disability (Dually Diagnosed). Merakey welcomes all Veterans to apply!Requirements:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Master's degrees in social work, Psychology, or another human/social service related fieldCurrent and unrestricted California license with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) OR registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC).Valid and current driver's license and personal vehicle with insurance.Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive to meet clients at their residence.Preferred:At least one (1) year direct service experience with mentally ill individualsExperience with individuals with developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of Trauma informed care; experience in CBT, DBT, ACT.
