Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year A bit about us: Our growing partner is looking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant to join their progressive and innovative team. Their ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of tax-related tasks. The individual will be expected to work closely with other team members and management to ensure our company's tax obligations are met efficiently and effectively. Their ideal candidate must have 2 years of experience with a CPA or on track for it. A background in manufacturing or Oli and Gas is a plus. Why join us? 1. Preparing and reviewing corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns. 2. Conducting research and planning to optimize tax strategies. 3. Managing and coordinating tax audits. 4. Developing tax strategies to assist the company in being financially efficient. 5. Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations. 6. Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual tax reports. 7. Assisting in the development of automated tax systems and processes. 8. Collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. 9. Interacting with management and staff on tax-related issues and providing guidance and support. 10. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advising management on the tax impact of business decisions. Job Details 1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s Degree or CPA certification is preferred. (or be on track for a CPA) 2. 2 years of experience. Background in Manufacturing/Oil and Gas/high networth is a plus 3. Proficiency in tax software 4. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. 7. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 8. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines. 9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 10. Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing a team.
