Home Health Be the Link Between Our Office, Patients, and the Field
American River Home Care is seeking a dependable, organized, and
detail-oriented team member for a hybrid role combining patient
intake, scheduling, and courier duties. You’ll coordinate care,
manage schedules, and provide essential field support—ensuring
patients and clinicians have the resources they need when they need
them. If you have healthcare experience, thrive on multitasking,

Schedule: Thursday - Monday 3:30pm- 12:00am What You’ll Do: Intake
& Scheduling • Process new referrals quickly and accurately. •
Verify insurance, collect necessary documentation, and enter
patient data into EMR. • Coordinate and schedule patient visits
with clinical staff based on patient needs, clinician availability,
and route efficiency. • Communicate with hospitals, clinics, and
physician offices to obtain missing information or orders. • Adjust
schedules for PRN needs, cancellations, or urgent visit requests.
Courier & Field Support • Pick up and drop off labs, medical
equipment, and supplies. • Set up medical equipment in patient
homes as needed—training provided. • Transport paperwork and urgent
deliveries between the office, patient homes, and partner
facilities. • Maintain accurate logs of all pickups, deliveries,
and schedule updates. General • Anticipate and respond to care team
needs to prevent delays in service. • Provide backup coverage for
other administrative or field support roles when needed. What We’re
Looking For: • Prior healthcare experience (home health, hospice,
clinic, or hospital preferred) • Strong multitasking,
organizational, and problem-solving skills • Experience with
scheduling in a healthcare or service setting is a plus • Clear,
professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare
providers • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof
of auto insurance, and clean driving record (for courier positions)
• Comfortable with technology (EMR, email, phone systems) • Ability
to lift/carry up to ~25 lbs • Flexibility to work rotating weekends
and cover any of the available shifts Schedule: Full-Time |
Thursday - Monday (part time also available) Shifts Available: •
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM • 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM • 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
