Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized Speech-Language Pathology services within a K-8 special education setting focused on behavior support. This contract position offers approximately 25 hours per week, beginning August 2026 through June 2027, based in Redding, CA. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized speech and language therapy plans for students placed in behavior support programs Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the communication needs of students with special education needs Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes student progress Monitor and document student progress in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Participate in team meetings and assist with behavior support planning as required Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification and licensure appropriate for school settings Experience working with K-8 students in special education, preferably within behavior support programs Strong skills in speech and language assessment, therapy techniques, and progress monitoring Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills Location: Redding, California One location serving K-8 special education students focused on behavioral challenges Benefits and Perks: Contract position with a defined NSY (non-standard year) schedule Approximately 25 hours per week allowing work-life balance Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students communication and behavioral development If you have specialized expertise in speech-language pathology and a passion for supporting students with behavioral needs in a K-8 special education setting, apply now to contribute to this impactful educational program.
