(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A school district in Oroville, CA is seeking skilled
Sign Language Interpreters for several contract positions available
now through the end of the school year. These roles provide
essential communication support for students who are deaf or hard
of hearing, fostering an inclusive educational environment. Key
Responsibilities: Interpret spoken language into American Sign
Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction and
school activities Facilitate effective communication between
students, teachers, and staff Collaborate with educational teams to
support student learning and engagement Maintain confidentiality
and professionalism in all interactions Qualifications: Fluency in
American Sign Language (ASL) is required Associates degree or
equivalent (AA degree) Candidates with or without Educational
Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) or Registry of
Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification are encouraged to
apply Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to supporting
student success Work Details: Location: Oroville, California
Contract positions available immediately through the end of the
current school year Approximately 30 hours per week This
opportunity is ideal for interpreters passionate about working in
educational settings and making a meaningful impact. Pay will be
commensurate with certifications and qualifications. Qualified
candidates who meet the fluency and educational requirements are

Compensation for this position ranges from $29.69 to $49.69.
