RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop battery technology for portable electronics Assist in the development of protocols for electrode assembly Maintain instrumentation Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated properly and maintained Manage lab equipment supplies Perform first-level triage on technical issues Troubleshoot data connection issues Assist in collecting and analyzing data for patents Assemble cylindrical and pouch cell lines Develop battery technology for electric cars Conduct electrode cutting and cell winding Support engineers conducting R&D Assist engineering in the development of new materials Safely handle chemicals Conduct routine maintenance on equipment Engage in activities to scaling up manufacturing Develop improvement to existing safety practices Test batteries Write standard operating procedures Other tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field required Ideal Battery Assembly Engineer will have minimum 1 year of experience Must have assembly experience on electronic products Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology Familiarity with electrode fabrication Experience with preventative maintenance Willing to take a drug screen and complete a background check BENEFITS: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401K Direct Hire Paid Time Off Salary: $20-$25/hr Ask for: Kelsey Job Id: 23554 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
