Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Transmission & Interconnection
Engineer - Battery Storage.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct steady state power transmission system analysis and manage
generator interconnection processes across ISOs/RTOs
Develop and validate power system models for BESS generation
plants, ensuring compliance with grid performance standards
Provide technical solutions for transmission and distribution grid
requirements and participate in interconnection negotiations
Required Qualifications
Minimum BA/BS in electrical engineering; master's degree preferred
with a focus on Power and Energy Systems
Two to five years of experience in the power and energy industry,
preferably in renewable energy
Proficiency in power system modeling software such as PSCAD, PSLF,
and PSSE
Strong subject matter expertise in organized markets outside of
ERCOT
Demonstrated experience with inverter-based plant modeling and
power flow analyses
