Job Description Job Description Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking two Torque Engineers to join the Assembly Department of an Automotive OEM. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting and supporting the Systems Group to prepare the new BEV assembly line at the Marysville Auto Plant. Your responsibilities will include setting up new tools, stations, and supporting new model events. Responsibilities Assist in setting up Torque / GALC Stations with System Group Members. Correctly use torque wrenches for various tasks. Support new model events on both A and B shifts, conducting static torque audits. Set up and adjust torque preset wrenches as needed. Provide associate training on new equipment. Essential Skills Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline. 2 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering. Hands-on engineering experience within the automotive industry. Proficiency in quality assurance, quality engineering, and quality management systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of SQL, software configuration, software data management, data analytics, and MySQL. Mechanical Engineering background. Ability to work on the 2nd shift during new model activities from 4:30 pm to 1:00 am, very occasionally. Work Environment The role is based in an automotive manufacturing environment, requiring familiarity with industry-specific equipment and tools. The position occasionally requires working on the 2nd shift during new model activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
