Position SummaryPrimary DutiesUnder general direction of the Director of Admissions, the CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) Coordinator is responsible for coordination of development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of CRM and third party applications/add-ons for the Office of Admissions in support of its outreach, marketing, and admissions application processing programs. The CRM Coordinator is integral to expanding CRM adoption campus wide and throughout the student life-cycle, directly contributing to achieving CSU Graduation Initiative 2025 graduation rate goals. The Coordinator produces outcomes with high visibility and broad campus impact.The CRM Coordinator provides day-to-day oversight of CRM related tasks, as well as long-term planning and strategy in CRM improvement. The CRM Coordinator will maintain, develop, troubleshoot and test the system, in close collaboration with programmer analysts; develop process guides and documentation; customize work flow, forms, fields, modules, views, reports, and dashboards; lead the CRM user training program, including training end users; and represent the Office of Admissions, Enrollment Management Services, Student Affairs, and other campus divisions and units on CRM functionality, projects, and issues.For a full description of job duties, please visit: https://csuchico.box.com/v/VA1244-Position-DescriptionKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKNOWLEDGE:Incumbent must possess:

  • Expertise in:
  • Using office software packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook), technology and systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of:
  • And ability to apply, extensive expertise to complex programs and/or administrative specialties, including pertinent laws and regulations.
  • Policies, procedures, and outside regulations pertaining to the applicable program and/or administrative specialty.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
  • And expertise with, the principles, problems and methods of public and business administration and operational and fiscal management.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Standard theories, practices and techniques applicable to the program and/or administrative specialty to develop conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Operational and fiscal analysis and techniques.
  • Budget policies and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • Methods and procedures for research and statistical analysis and the ability to apply them.SKILLS:Incumbent must possess:
    • Expertise in administrative survey techniques, operations and systems analysis, statistical and research methods, and the ability to interpret and evaluate results to develop sound conclusions and recommend new or revised policies.
    • Expertise in investigating and analyzing problems with a broad administrative impact and implications.
    • Consultative skills working with internal and external constituent groups.
    • Skill in the research, development and evaluation of policies and programs, including skill in the collection, evaluation, and interpretation of data to develop sound conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations.ABILITIES:Incumbent must have the ability to:
      • Understand problems from a broad, interactive perspective and discern applicable underlying principles to conceive and develop strategic solutions.
      • Work with representatives from public and private entities and handle potentially sensitive situations.
      • Effectively present ideas and concepts in written or presentation format and use consultative and facilitation skills to gain consensus.
      • Use reasoning and the interpretation and application of theories and principles to develop and recommend alternatives and best courses of action.
      • Take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved.
      • Train others on new skills and procedures, and provide lead work direction.
      • Learn, interpret, follow, and apply a wide variety standard of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit, and/or administrative specialty.
      • Analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques.
      • Organize and plan work and projects including handling multiple priorities.
      • Make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.
      • Compile, write, and present reports using judgment and discretion in selecting and analyzing information for inclusion, and effectively present the information.
      • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the work group and serve as a liaison for the organizational unit.
      • Perform duties as assigned.Required Education and/or ExperienceThe knowledge, skills and abilities listed above would normally be obtained through a bachelors degree and/or full-time equivalent training and three years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs.Additional Requirements for this PositionN/ARecruitment PreferencesPreference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
        • Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study.
        • Two years of experience supporting information systems and technology.
        • Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or other CRM applications.
        • Demonstrated experience providing technology related customer service.
        • Knowledge of database management systems.
        • Demonstrated experience building web forms and communication templates.Special Requirements

Must beable to travel across campus to other offices and buildings for meetings and events.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Typical office environment operating standard office equipment. Position involves frequent to constant interaction with students, parents, faculty and staff to perform student support functions. Attendance at evening or weekend informational or orientation sessions, as needed, is required. This position requires the ability to work with constant interruptions, and be able to adjust to change such as policies, programs, and technology.
