Located on 15 beautiful acres, located in Bangor, CA.Position available:

    • Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
    • Assesses and monitors clients' behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
    • Works as a team member with other professionals
    • Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
    • Conducts individual, -family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
    • Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
    • Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
    • Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
    • Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
    • Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
    • Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
    • Perform job duties under stressful conditions
    • May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilitiesEducation and minimum qualification:
      • Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
      • Must possess a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
      • Have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling.
      • Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
      • Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification. -
      • Must possess a valid Driver's License - - - -Preferred education and experience:
        • Two to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling
        • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Salary: -$90,000-$135,000 -The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. -This pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. -Pay may consider several factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, training, hours/shifts worked, business need, and education.
