Travel School Nurse Summer Contract Job in Galt, CA Duration: June 14, 2024, to July 24, 2024 (Off on June 19, 2024, and July 4, 2024) Schedule: 6 Hours per Day, 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday Pay: $40 per hour Position Type: On-Site ONLY Responsibilities: Provide general Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN) services for the entire school district.Administer medications and treatments to students as prescribed by healthcare providers.Monitor students with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, allergies, etc.Assist students with G-tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and other specialized medical needs.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure the health and safety of all students.Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of student health assessments, treatments, and communications.Provide health education and counseling to students, families, and staff members as needed.Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.Adhere to all school district policies, state regulations, and professional standards for school nursing practice.Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN) in the state of California.Experience working with pediatric populations in a healthcare or school setting.Proficiency in managing a variety of medical conditions and emergencies, including diabetes, medication administration, G-tube feeding, and tracheostomy care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.Preferred: Possession of a School Nurse Services Credential (SNCS).Why Travel with Spindle?
