Description:Job Title: CNA Instructor Working Schedule- 7:45am. to 4:45 pm. We are looking for a candidate to join our wonderful Team!!!!!Individual Accountability - Growth-Safety-Respect-Integrity-Commitment.Job Corps is a job training program for young adults between the ages of 16-24 yrs.Our organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Instructor who has experience in teaching our Job Corps youth. As a CNA Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and training to young individuals who may face various challenges in their lives. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering classroom lectures and hands-on training sessions to help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their CNA careers. Responsibilities:- Develop and implement lesson plans and training materials that meet the needs of disadvantaged youth- Provide hands-on training to students in clinical settings- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their performance- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and development- Ensure that all training materials and curriculum are up-to-date and meet industry standards- Maintain accurate student records and provide reports as needed- Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed. Requirements:- An active CNA license and /or LVN, Registered Nurse- At least 2 years of experience working as a CNA- At least 1 year of experience teaching disadvantaged youth- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment- Knowledge of industry standards and training requirements- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed. No teaching experience required, however, if candidate is not state certified, he/she must have practical experience in the subject/trade area. Must have the ability to transfer topical knowledge to meet specific learning objectives.Preferred: Minimum plus Job Corps experience. Knowledge: Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate behavior as well as work and study habits in adolescent students; of housekeeping techniques and management; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate, and execute instructions or directives fluently in English.Compensation details: 30-34 Hourly WagePI3c52b0bc7e51-25660-33061678
