TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Sacramento, California, 95817! Pay Information $3,434 per week About The Position Job Title: Electrophysiology Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1-3 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - 2 years of ICU or Electrophysiology experience - High volume/high acuity academic center experience preferred Description: Electrophysiology Cath Lab RN needed. Shift is 4x10, from 07:30 to 17:30. No weekends and no on-call required. Candidate must have experience in the Electrophysiology Lab. Familiarity with hybrid OR settings is beneficial. Skills required include the use of cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Experience with follow-up procedures, including lead extraction and cardiac ablation, is necessary. Knowledge of the Watchman procedure is vital. Candidate should be adept in arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, and cardiac mapping. Capable of conducting cardioversions and conduction studies is required. Experience with left atrial appendage closure is essential. Ability to assist with central line insertion and management is necessary. Proficiency in blood product administration and care of implanted ports is required. Must have experience with IV infusion pumps and PICC line maintenance. Starting IVs and performing 12 lead EKGs is necessary. Familiarity with activated clotting time monitoring is required. Candidate should have experience in procedural sedation monitoring. Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions is crucial. Experience with monitoring and safety protocols related to radiation and laser procedures is necessary. Candidate must understand topical hemostasis and vascular closure systems. Ventilator monitoring experience is required.
