Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts equipment and determines proper technique and desired exposure times for each image. Explains any post-procedure instructions to patients upon exam completion. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and Work Experience: /n /n - Five years' radiology experience: Preferred /n /n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required /n - Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA and HI /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required /n - Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA within 6 months of hire /n /n/n/n Facility Specific License/Certifications: /n /n - Fluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Supports radiologists by assisting with specialized tests, notifying radiologists of STAT exams within guidelines and producing quality images to aid in diagnosis. /n - Prepares and performs exams while demonstrating efficiency and professionalism. /n - Operates highly complex radiographic equipment within the cardiac catheterization department, selecting technical factors to ensure high quality radiographs using ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) standards. /n - Leads collaborative departmental protocol development efforts. /n - Performs other job-related duties as assigned. /n /n/n/n Organizational Requirements: /n Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
