Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Registered Nurse Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - PALS Must-Have: - Pediatric surgery experience - Trauma Level I experience - Circulate experience - EPIC experience - Travel experience Description: Must have pediatric surgery experience. Scrub experience is a huge plus. On call and weekends may be required if needed. Floating is required between the facilities, all located on the same campus. Large operating room with 24 suites in need of RNs who can work in a fast-paced environment and assist in a variety of case types including burns, trauma, orthopedics, transplants, cardiac, gynecology, urology, robotics, neurology, neurosurgery/spine, and ophthalmology. The RN will be needed to run the trauma room, so they must have experience working in a trauma Level I. Complex case experience is required. No first-time travelers. Variable weekends are required along with floating to the Same Day Surgery Center if needed. Candidates can start sooner than the posted start date once compliant. RTO must be presented up front. Failure to complete modules by the due date may result in a postponement or cancellation. Modules are non-billable and are expected to be completed prior to start.
