making a difference in patient ca Overview We are seeking a skilled
and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic
imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images for accurate
diagnosis and treatment. This role requires a strong understanding
of medical imaging techniques and a commitment to patient care in
various settings, including urgent care and emergency medicine.
Duties Perform X-ray examinations on patients, ensuring adherence
to safety protocols and standards. Collaborate with physicians and
healthcare staff to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is in optimal
working condition. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining
the process and addressing any concerns. Ensure proper positioning
of patients to obtain clear images while minimizing exposure to
radiation. Document patient information and imaging results
accurately in medical records. Assist in other imaging modalities
as needed, including mammography, sonography, or nuclear medicine.
Uphold cleanliness and organization within the imaging department.
Experience Proven experience in diagnostic radiology with a focus
on X-ray procedures is preferred. Familiarity with urgent care
environments or level II trauma centers is advantageous. Experience
in additional imaging modalities such as mammography or sonography
is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with
patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work efficiently
in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Join our team as an X-ray
