Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating
Room) Setting: Acute Care Hospital Unit: Cardiovascular OR Contract
Length: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40/week Shift: 8-Hour Days
Required Call Position Overview: Seeking a strong CVOR RN with
recent cardiovascular surgical experience. Candidate must be able
to scrub and be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity
environment. Will participate in weekday call and rotate through 3
weekend shifts per month. Unit Details: of Suites: 4 Surgeries Per
Day: 4–6 Typical Cases: CABG, valve replacements, other open-heart
surgeries (no thoracic) EMR: Cerner Support Staff: CSTs, RT 24/7,
Pharmacy 24/7, Charge RN Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years
CVOR RN experience Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must be able to read
and interpret EKG strips First-Time Travelers: Accepted Scheduling
& Call: Shift Times: 8-hour days Call: 1 overnight call shift per
week Required to cover 3 weekend shifts per month (usually call)
Holidays: Rotate with core staff Orientation: 1–2 days in OR with
