Job Description Responsibilities Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a
multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in
the Sacramento region, is looking to add a physician to our busy
Occupational Medicine Department at our Midtown Clinic in
Sacramento, CA. Among the services provided at MMG Occupational
Medicine are the treatment of work-related injuries such as
lacerations, multiple body strains, fractures, acute eye injuries
and foreign bodies, etc. We also provide pre-employment physical
examinations, DOT and Hazmat physical examinations, physician
certified MRO services for employment drug testing, onsite
audiometry and pulmonary function testing, and mask-fit testing. We
provide fit for duty examinations as well as employer requested
recommendations on ergonomics, chemical exposures etc., among
additional services. MMG Occupational Medicine provides
evidence-based medical treatment in a timely and effective manner
while remaining cost effective with work related injuries for both
prompt return to work and closure of cases. We are one of the most

area and are recognized as a Preferred Provider by the majority of
the worker compensation insurance carriers as a result of the

$300,000 / Year Qualifications - A valid and unrestricted
California medical license - Board eligible or board certified in
specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA) - Completion of
an accredited post-graduate training program Patient Care: Diagnose
and treat various medical conditions. Develop and implement
comprehensive treatment plans. Conduct thorough medical
examinations and histories. Communication: Communicate effectively
with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Provide clear and
concise medical information. Foster a collaborative and
patient-centered approach to healthcare. Documentation: Maintain
accurate and up-to-date patient records. Document medical findings,
diagnoses, and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with coding and
billing regulations. Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret
diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging. Perform procedures
as needed Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic
evaluation. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with nurses,
specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in
interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Provide
consultative services to other healthcare providers. Quality
Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and improvement
initiatives. Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous
improvement. Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Compliance: Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical
practice. Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance
requirements. Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to
standards. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of medical
advancements and best practices. Participate in ongoing medical
education and training. Contribute to the development of clinical
