Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVU - Cardiovascular Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - CCU/ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in a 30-bed Cardiovascular Unit providing medical, pre-operative and post-operative surgical care /n• Care for medium to high acuity patients with high potential for becoming unstable /n• Maintain patient to nurse ratio not exceeding 1:4 /n• Serve patient population from young adult through geriatric community /n• Treat patients with cardiac diagnoses, pre/post cardiac artery bypass surgery, carotid endarterectomy, acute myocardial infarction, post pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia detection, CHF, pneumonia and similar disease processes /n• May float to other units including Med/Surg as needed /n• Must have current California RN license /n• Current BLS certification required /n• Current ACLS certification required /n• EPIC charting experience required /n• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience required /n• Must be W-2 employee of agency /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a specialized 30-bed Cardiovascular Unit dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiac care services.
