Job Description:
Interventional Pain Physician - Northern California (100 Miles
from Sacramento) Position OverviewJoin a collaborative,
multidisciplinary team at a leading community hospital recognized
with the 2020 Leapfrog Top General Hospital Award. We are seeking a
board-certified Interventional Pain Physician to deliver
comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. This
is a permanent position offering a balanced work-life schedule,

package.QualificationsBoard Certification in Pain
ManagementFellowship training in Pain Management (Physical Medicine
& Rehabilitation preferred; Anesthesiology and Neurology also
accepted)Active California Fluoroscopy license and operator's
permit (must be obtained prior to start)Key ResponsibilitiesProvide
interventional pain management for chronic pain patients in a fully
equipped outpatient clinicPerform a variety of in-office
procedures, including:Botox injectionsElectromyography (EMG)
studies (upper and lower extremities preferred)Trigger point and
joint injectionsFluoroscopy-guided procedures (oral and conscious
sedation, anesthesia available)Epidural steroid injections
(cervical, thoracic, lumbar)Medial branch blocks, radiofrequency
ablationsNeurostimulator trialsMinimally invasive lumbar
decompression (MILD)Offer alternatives to opioid therapy and avoid
prescribing opioids to outpatientsMaintain accurate and timely
documentation of all procedures and patient interactionsParticipate
in a well-established referral network within a vibrant university
town communityExperience with EMG (preferred)No intrathecal pump
management requiredNo inpatient call responsibilities Group Size:
Collaborate with a team of 4 PM&R physicians, a nurse
practitioner, therapists, nurses, dieticians, and case managers
