Overview: In this role, you will apply the nursing process to
deliver patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals
authorized by a State regulatory board to prescribe treatments and
medications, or under the supervision of a Registered Professional
Nurse (RN). You will hold professional accountability for the care
provided to your assigned patients and will collaborate with
various departments to coordinate patient care. Upholding patient
rights and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information are
essential aspects of this position. Your responsibilities will be
carried out in alignment with our mission, values, and service
standards. Position Details:Qualifications: Education: High school
diploma or equivalent GED. Licensure: Must be a graduate of an
accredited practical nursing program; relevant educational
experience and successful licensure may also be considered. You are
responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in
the state where you perform nursing duties, adhering to all State
Board of Nursing requirements. Physical Requirements: The role
involves standing or walking for most of the shift, along with
considerable bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and turn
patients with assistance. You should be able to push, pull, or grip
up to 50 pounds. Experience: Open to both new and seasoned LPNs.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American
Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of
hire. LPN-IV Certification must be completed prior to or within 3
months of hire (with a range from upon hire to within 1 year).
Additional certifications may be required based on the specific
position or unit, including: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS (Pediatric Assessment
Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature,
Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six
Assessment & Care Modules Other unit-specific certifications as
