Key Responsibilities: Gather comprehensive information about the patient from various sources, including the patient, family, and other healthcare professionals, to create a complete understanding of their needs. Analyze and interpret assessment data to determine relevant diagnoses or conditions. Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to identify optimal outcomes. Formulate a care plan that outlines strategies and alternatives to achieve desired outcomes, utilizing clinical judgment in partnership with the patient and care team. Execute the care plan while ensuring a safe environment, coordinating efforts with the patient, family, and healthcare team. Assess processes and progress towards achieving goals and outcomes. Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, reflecting on personal performance and staying updated with current knowledge. Communicate effectively across all areas of practice, fostering collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Utilize clinical inquiry and integrate evidence-based practices into care. Apply scientific knowledge and evidence-based practices in critical care nursing, ensuring care meets the specific needs of patients. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational background for licensing. Experience: No prior experience necessary. Physical Requirements: Regularly use speech for effective communication. Frequent standing and walking. Occasional lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Regularly engage in sitting, reaching, and data entry tasks. Consistently use vision for near and far distances and to identify colors. Frequently utilize smell for detecting odors. Regularly use hearing to receive verbal communication and detect alarms. Occasional driving and other physical activities. Required Licenses and Certifications: State of Work Location: Illinois Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Other certifications may include ENPC, NRP, PALS, TNCC, etc. State of Work Location: Missouri Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Other certifications may include ENPC, NRP, PALS, TNCC, etc. State of Work Location: Oklahoma Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Other certifications may include ENPC, NRP, PALS, TNCC, etc. State of Work Location: Wisconsin Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Other certifications may include ENPC, NRP, PALS, TNCC, etc. Work Shift: Night Shift (United States) Job Type: Employee Department: West PCU Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Benefits: Our organization values its outstanding employees by providing a comprehensive benefits package tailored to their needs.
