Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible NeurosurgeryPhysician to join a well-established, multi-state surgical group in Sacramento,California. This role offers an excellent balance of acute care neurosurgery,inpatient consultative services, and operative opportunities, supported by acollaborative, high-acuity clinical team. The Neurosurgery Physician will play a critical role in managing acuteneurosurgical cases presenting through the Emergency Department and transfercenter. The position focuses on inpatient consults, trauma-related cases, andperforming necessary neurosurgical procedures in coordination with experiencedED physicians, hospitalists, and a well-staffed ICU team. Compensation $457,500 Plus Benefits Including: Competitive salary Strong work-life balance Robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage Malpractice insurance with tail coverage CME allowance: $2,500 annually Option to perform elective procedures with 60% of collections Long-term stability within a respected surgical group with 25 years of experience Responsibilities Provide neurosurgical consultation for emergency and inpatient cases Evaluate and manage trauma-related neurosurgical conditions Perform emergent and indicated neurosurgical procedures Collaborate closely with ED physicians, hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing staff Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction Schedule Predictable schedule: 26 weeks per year (approximately 2 weeks per month) 183 days annually qualifies as full-time Per diem and part-time options available Opportunity to perform both elective and emergency procedures Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery Active California medical license or ability to obtain Strong communication skills with a focus on patient satisfaction Demonstrated clinical excellence and ability to thrive in a team-based environment Sacramento, California is a vibrant capital city offering a lowercost of living than many major California metros, easy access to the SierraNevada, Napa Valley, and San Francisco, and a growing food, arts, and outdoorrecreation scene along the American and Sacramento Rivers.
