Mammography Tech Location: Eureka, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,537 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid CA License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Must-Have: - Prior charge experience preferred - Experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Fine Needle Aspiration, and more Description: This position requires proficiency in mammography techniques. Responsibilities include conducting screening mammograms and diagnostic mammograms. The technician will perform stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations. Isolation precautions must be maintained at all times. The technician will work in a unit with an average daily census of 30 patients. Charting will be completed using the Epic system. The work environment is an acute care hospital setting. Staff color codes and dress codes must be followed appropriately. The technician will work with patients across adult and geriatric age groups. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. The role may require the technician to float between units as necessary. Travelers must be willing to work during major holidays. References from previous employers will be required. Communication devices necessary for the role will be provided by the facility. Travelers are encouraged to explore housing options in the area.
