Mammography Tech Location: Eureka, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,520 to $2,680 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $63.00 - $67.00/Hourly. Summary: The Mammography Technologist performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations to aid in the early detection of breast disease. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while adhering to established clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Position patients accurately to obtain optimal image quality while ensuring patient comfort and dignity. Operate mammography equipment and related imaging systems. Evaluate images for technical quality and repeat imaging when necessary. Educate patients on mammography procedures and post-exam care. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, Epic experience Required, BLS Certification, ARRT Certification, CA State License, Locals accepted at lower rate.
