Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Eureka, CA Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 7 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist Cath Lab Location: Eureka, California, United States Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: 10-hour Day Shifts Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist to join a dynamic Cath Lab team. Under the direction of the Department Manager and in collaboration with cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff, you will perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. This role requires providing excellent patient care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, participating in quality assurance initiatives, and serving as a customer-focused representative to patients, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures in the Cath Lab. Provide age-appropriate patient care, assisting with data collection and clinical procedures. Serve as a professional liaison to patients, families, and healthcare teams. Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Collaborate with the Department Manager, Lead Technologist, and Medical Director of the Cath Lab. Maintain compliance with all departmental, state, and federal regulations. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technologist program (or equivalent education/experience). California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). BLS Certification (American Heart Association). Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in angiocardiography or equivalent experience. Advanced ARRT registration in Cardiovascular and Interventional Imaging. Minimum of 2 years as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital. Hours & Experience: Full-Time, 10-hour day shifts. Ideal candidate has 2 years of acute care scrub or cardiovascular technologist experience .
