Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Fortuna, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,458 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year preferred License: California state license preferred; pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience - Charting system experience (Epic) Description: Start date: ASAP. First-time travelers are welcome. Patient ratios: 2:1. Average daily census: 4. Weekend requirement: 2 weekends out of 4 off, with weekends consisting of 2 consecutive days from Friday to Sunday. Unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Caring for adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include managing patients with chronic and acute renal failure, arterial line management, and blood product administration. Candidate will be expected to perform duties related to ventilator management, assist with chest tube insertion and removal, and care for ventilated patients. Familiarity with emergency medications, CVA/acute stroke management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases is essential. Candidate may float between sister facilities as needed. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
