The Surgery Technician employs intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills to perform scrubbing responsibilities and assists the Surgeon during surgical intervention on patients of various ages. Required Qualifications: • Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program within 1 year of employment. NCST or NCCT • Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: • OR experience.
