Mammography Tech Location: Eureka, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,805 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8 Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid CA License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Charting system experience (Epic) Description: Required certifications include BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, and a valid California license. The position does not require floating between like units. There is no on-call duty associated with this position. Block scheduling options are open from Saturday to Monday. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. The facility allows for one shift per two weeks to be called off. The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 150 staffed beds. Staff are permitted to wear any solid color scrubs, typically royal blue or navy. The unit uses Epic for charting and has a daily census of approximately 30 patients. The team consists of interdisciplinary support and interpretation services. Daily visits per day are estimated to be around 30 in a two-room setup. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities. Candidates must provide two supervisory references from the past three years. All candidates must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Candidates should look into housing options as they may be limited. Modules are non-billable, with an average time of 16 hours for completion.
