Job Description Job Description Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Location: Sacramento, CA Position: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year Summary COTAs are the bridge between a treatment plan and what happens in the room each day. In this position, you’ll lead therapy sessions that build functional ability, help patients practice real-life routines, and keep accurate notes so progress is easy to track and adjust. Responsibilities Deliver OT treatment sessions according to established care plans Lead functional activities to improve ADLs, cognition, and upper extremity use Provide cues, corrections, and modifications to ensure safe participation Document objective measures and patient outcomes after each visit Coordinate with supervising OT for updates, changes, and goal progression Support patient education on carryover strategies and home routines Requirements Associate degree from an accredited OTA program Current California COTA license (or eligible) NBCOT certification Strong documentation and communication skills Experience in a clinical setting is a plus (new grads welcome) Benefits 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match Send over your resume and let’s set up a quick conversation to see if this schedule and setting fit what you want next.
