Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with charting
systems Description: Day shift position requiring 8 hours from 8 AM
to 4:30 PM. First-time travelers are accepted. The facility allows
some floating between like units. Block scheduling may be
accommodated at management’s discretion. Local candidates are
welcome, but pending licenses are not accepted. Requests for time
off must be included with application submission. The facility
reserves the right to call off staff once per two-week pay period.
The type of facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 150
staffed beds. Scrub color for radiation therapy is black. Charting
is conducted using the Epic system. The daily census includes both
adult and geriatric patients. There is interdisciplinary support
from various services including respiratory, social services, and
rapid response teams. Patient diagnoses include various cancers
such as breast, prostate, and lung. Clinicians must have experience
with essential skills including Stereotactic Radiosurgery and
Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy. Special training will be provided
if needed for specific equipment operation. Travelers should expect
to work during two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving,
Christmas, or New Year. Providers are responsible for their own
housing arrangements due to limited availability in the area.
References must include at least two supervisory contacts covering
one year of employment within the last three years. Travelers may
occasionally float between nearby facilities. Employers will ensure
communication devices are provided for job duties. Requirements
