We are looking for 1-2 provider who can help cover a full time
ortho APP coverage need. The start date would be later in June
(around June 18th) pending privileges be approved and issued.
Monday- Thursday: provider will work in the clinic from 8am-5pm
(12-1 will be an hour lunch unpaid). Friday: provider will have
mainly OR time with the surgeon from 7:30am- could end anywhere
between 3pm-5pm. If there are no OR cases, the provider will either
then have an admin day or will be in the clinic. The APP will be
required to take call 5-7 days a month. When on call that week,
they will work 8am-5pm with call included in their hourly pay
(Friday: 7:30am- 3 or 5pm). Night call will apply from 5pm-8am.
They will then be on 24hr call on the weekend. If they are doing 5
days of call that month, please note there is flexibility and those
set days could be scattered throughout that week. Please ensure the
bid reflects the below: - Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day - OT to
apply after 8 hours per day REQUIREMENTS:

Active CA license and CA DEA Board Certified BLS certification
Comfortable assisting with most orthopedic surgeries. PRIVILEGES: 2
years of clinical activity will need to be submitted with a focus
on trauma orthopedics. The clinic activity has to attest to the
privileges being requested. Please note that the privileging
timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned
back in. - Privileging Timeline: 90 days (average) - RFA due within
48-72 hours (request for application); - Hospital Privilege
Application due within 5 business days - If temporary privilege is
applicable, eligibility can only be confirmed after completed file
(application and all verifications received) are sent to MSO -
Deviation from this timeline may result in the provider being
cancelled from the site. o All specialties require 2 years of
current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty. o Gaps greater
than 3 months must be explained. o Include current number of case
logs upon presentation for surgical specialties. Schedule Monday:
