Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist I Profession:
Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Urgent Care Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift: Part-Time Rotating Schedule Hours per Shift: 30.00
Experience: New graduate eligible, but one year of experience in
general radiology preferred. License: California Certified
Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required. Certifications: ARRT
required. Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS
Certification required. Must-Have: 1. Graduate of an AMA approved
radiology course. 2. Basic clerical and computer experience. 3.
Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating caring, communication,
collaboration, and competence. 4. Attendance and punctuality are
essential functions of the job. Description: Works under the
supervision of the Urgent Care Manager with oversight by the
Imaging Manager. Performs general radiographic studies to
established quality assurance criteria. Produces radiographs and
organizes images, completes required paperwork, and charges.
Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with
clerical and other duties as assigned. Reports all equipment
malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.
Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required
quality standards. Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies,
and drug reactions according to quality assurance policies.
Produces images, burns CDs, and occasionally prints films,
organizing paperwork, and completing requisition data. Seeks out
additional work during downtime in other areas of the department,
such as front desk duties, rooming patients, or assisting with
other duties as needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
