Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Redding, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,114 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, DCI/BVP Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing - Valid nursing license - Current certifications in PALS, ACLS, and BLS Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient and family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department. Communicates with physicians about changes in patients' clinical conditions, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child and adult abuse to appropriate agencies. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
