Job Description UNI is seeking for qualified Licensed Clinical
Social Worker for the VA OPC in Chico, CA Duties may include:
assessment and referrals, providing short-term case management
(face to face and phone), telephone coverage of Hotline Programs,
screenings for the various programs, detailed documentation,
attending and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings,
reaching out to Veterans and their families, assisting with various
program documents/applications as needed and duties as they arise.
Hours: up to 40 hours a week, Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30
Ability to work and communicate with people from diverse
backgrounds as well as ability to engage individuals who may be
withdrawn or aggressive.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
Experience with working with Veterans with mental health, substance
abuse, and medical conditions Self-starter and ability to
