This includes brewing, wort production, fermentation, maturation, filtering, carbonation, and packaging of beer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Receive, store, and retrieval of raw ingredients for brewingMilling grains in accordance with a recipeBrew beer to recipeDocument each brew sessionRemove spent grain Follows all SOPs and best practices for brewing operations (Brewing, Cellar, and Filtration) in a safe and efficient manner.Maintains an organized, sanitary, and safe work area, by keeping it clean before, during and after use, keeping tools in appropriate places after use, and sterilizing any item that may contact product immediately after usePerforms CIP of brewing equipment Performs basic maintenance and troubleshooting of process equipmentPerforms light duty mechanical adjustments, manually or with small hand tools Maintain visual aesthetics of the brewery and its equipmentParticipate in various on-site and off-site beer events as requiredCompletes beer production records, to ensure the brewery complies with all State and Federal environmental, safety and tax regulationsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
