Lumber GraderFULL-TIME$29.63/hr, plus $1500 new hire bonus, see details belowDuties include:--- Visually inspecting the quality of lumber to be graded and grade lumber of varying dimensions and species--- Applying grade rules to maximize lumber profitability--- Ensuring lumber produced is within grade parameters to maintain grade reliability--- Ensuring lumber produced is within expected grade yields and take appropriate action or troubleshoot to correct--- Maximize yield by either determining if flaws in lumber need to be trimmed to maintain a higher grade or reduce the grade of lumber--- Calibrating and monitoring or grade scan--- Straightening lumber that may be jammed or crossed up.REM-03 WS-03 WS-LCScheduleShift start: 5:00AM or 5:00PMShift length: 9 hoursVarious shifts availableBenefitsHealth, dental, vision insurance - available after 90 daysPaid time off401(k) planQualificationsMust pass drug screen (cannabis included)Can lift 50 lbsAt least 2 or more WWPA, TPI, or similar grader certifications required At least 5 years in the lumber industry In-depth understanding of American Lumber Standard grading rules$1500 new hire incentiveUp to $1500, paid at 3 intervals
