Job Title : Brewer
Department: Brewery
Reports To: Brew Master & Brewery Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Pay $ 18.000 - $22.00
Summary Effective performance of assigned daily brewery operations.
This includes brewing, wort production, fermentation, maturation,
filtering, carbonation, and packaging of beer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
Receive, store, and retrieval of raw ingredients for brewing
Milling grains in accordance with a recipe
Brew beer to recipe
Document each brew session
Remove spent grain
Follows all SOPs and best practices for brewing operations
(Brewing, Cellar, and Filtration) in a safe and efficient
manner.
Maintains an organized, sanitary, and safe work area, by keeping it
clean before, during and after use, keeping tools in appropriate
places after use, and sterilizing any item that may contact product
immediately after use
Performs CIP of brewing equipment
Performs basic maintenance and troubleshooting of process
equipment
Performs light duty mechanical adjustments, manually or with small
hand tools
Maintain visual aesthetics of the brewery and its equipment
Participate in various on-site and off-site beer events as
required
Completes beer production records, to ensure the brewery complies
with all State and Federal environmental, safety and tax
regulations
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must

considered.
Education and/or Experience Prefer formal brewing education and at
least 2 years of hands-on commercial brewery experience.
Diploma/Certificate in Brewing or Fermentation or any combination
of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge,
skills and abilities have been achieved required
