By transforming the character, we give life back to the people who have lost it through substance abuse and mental health issues.By sharing the tools necessary for change, we facilitate the Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual restoration of our patients.We are seeking a licensed therapist to provide mental health and SUD treatment services; provides clinical and casework services, and counseling and treatment for mentally and emotionally disturbed clients and their families.Duties and Responsibilities: Performs journey level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients Assesses and monitors clients behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency. Works as a team member with other professionals Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences Conducts individual, family and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues Operates a personal computer and other office equipment Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses Perform job duties under stressful conditions May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilitiesRequired Skills: Principles, procedures, techniques, trends of clinical and casework services, counseling, and treatment. Social aspects and characteristics of mental and emotional disturbances. Principles of mental health education. Theories and causes of substance abuse. A wide variety of therapeutic and treatment approaches for persons with mental and emotional problems. Scope, availability, and activities of community resources, including other mental health and social service agencies. Current trends in mental hygiene, mental health, public health, and social services, including State and Federal programs in these areas. Expert communication skills and counseling abilities Current license as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Clinical Counselor issued by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences. Individuals who are qualifying with current licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor must show at the time of application, proof of completed, additional coursework as outlined in the Business and Professions Code Section 4999.20 (3)(A)(B) and (C), to perform assessments and treatment of couples or families. Must be very familiar with HIPAA/client confidential and personal rights,Important to note all employees must:

• Intervene when clients indicate an intention to discharge ASA. & Improve client retention in a material and measurable way if the situation arrives at any given time.Education and minimum qualification: Must obtain a license as a mental health professional or a license under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional. Must possess a High School diploma or a GED. Must have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling. Must possess a valid Drivers LicenseWe offer if Full-Time:
