This position will focus primarily on front end development, user experience and accessibility. Additionally, the Library Web Developer will be a member of the library's Digital Initiatives Group charged with providing strategic direction to our digital library endeavors by harmonizing goals, leveraging efficiencies, normalizing data models and processes around project selection and implementation, and planning scalable technical infrastructuresPreferences:Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills: -
      • Experience working in an academic library preferredRequired Education and Experience:The qualifications listed above would normally be obtained by a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems educational technology, communications or job-related field or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study.
        AND
        Two years of full-time job-related experience.
        OR
        An equivalent combination of job-related experience and education providing the requisite skills and knowledge to independently apply technical judgment to standard application systems.Time Base: Part-time (.25) Fully remote (Telework available for this position)
