Title: Warehouse Clerk Department: Operations Reports To: Returns Manager Location: 402 Otterson Drive Suite 100 Chico, CA 95928 (HQ) Employment Type: Full-time, In house Start Date: ASAP Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm About the role: Build.com Headquarters is hiring a full-time Warehouse Clerk to run and manage the day to day shipments we receive. Our next Warehouse Clerk thrives on working independently, is reliable and punctual. You will learn from the ground up the different processes each vendor has, what Build.com's standards are and help ensure that no detail is missed. As a warehouse clerk, you will be responsible for lifting 50+ lbs on your own and are adaptable to all sorts of weather while working in a warehouse. What are you going to do:

• Receives goods, verifies items against record of shipment, and inspects condition of goods
• Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations
• Maintain warehouse equipment and supplies - this includes: maintenance agreements and supply accounts
• Pulls, prepares, packages, and stages shipments for loading and shipping
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Handles and maintains flow of materials and products according to established guidelines
• Performs all work in accordance with safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulation and procedures
• Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management What are you going to bring to the table:
  • Shipping experience such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and BOL preparation
  • Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions
  • Requires the carrying of objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand
  • Ability to effectively operate motorized and/or manual lifting devices
  • Constantly requires carrying objects that are 50 lbs or more using equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and G-Suite - i.e. reading SQL queries
  • Forklift experience preferred
