Polysomnographic / Sleep Tech Location: Eureka, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,584 to $1,728 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $44.00 - $48.00/Hourly. Summary: The Polysomnographer (Sleep Technologist) is responsible for conducting comprehensive sleep studies to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. This role involves patient preparation, monitoring physiological data during sleep, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Perform overnight and daytime polysomnographic studies (PSG). Prepare patients for sleep studies, including explaining procedures and applying electrodes and sensors. Monitor and record physiological data such as EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, airflow, oxygen saturation, and respiratory effort. Identify, document, and respond to sleep-related events and abnormalities. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, Epic experience Required, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, RPSGT, CCHS Preferred, Locals accepted at lower rate.
